Meet the Author: Susan Orlean

Shaker Library and the Shaker Schools Foundation present Susan Orlean, SHHS grad and author of The Library Book. The program will be held at Shaker Middle School. Orlean is a journalist and author who has been a staff writer for the New Yorker since 1992. She has contributed articles to many magazines including Vogue, Rolling Stone, Esquire, and Outside. Her 1998 book, The Orchid Thief, was made into the movie, Adaptation.

Following her talk books will be available for sale and signing.
